Every serious channel for advertising an OT server turns out to have a public price once you go looking for it, and this guide lists every one found on 5 September 2026.

The launch countdown is where the two sites actually diverge. otservers.org sells coins starting at 250 for €25.00, a rate of 10 coins per euro, which puts its 90-coin daily countdown at roughly €9 a day. otservlist.org's countdown is a flat €90 a day. Back on 3 August 2018, an OTLand user asked whether paying "90 Euro/Day" for a countdown was worth it. otservlist.org's advertise page, fetched 5 September 2026, still prices that same countdown at exactly 90€/day.

There's a size threshold worth planning around too. otservers.org asks any server that grows past 500 concurrent players to hold a highlight to stay listed, since servers that size take the largest share of the site's traffic.

Step 3: Run a cost-per-click banner if you want traffic instead of a ranking boost
