Olimpia, a Brazilian Greek-mythology custom server on protocol 10.98, launches 18 September 2026 after three open betas, with everyone starting at level 8.

Dohko, the developer behind the Brazilian custom server Olimpia, confirmed on 11 September 2026 that Olimpia launches Friday, 18 September 2026, at 19:00 BRT / 22:00 UTC / 18:00 EDT, according to his OTLand launch thread. Olimpia runs a custom client on protocol 10.98 from a dedicated server in Brazil that the thread lists as running 24/7, with experience staged from 70x at low levels down to 5x at the top, loot at 2x, spawn at 1x and protection level 100. The launch follows three open betas, the last ending 30 August 2026, and a completed character wipe; account creation is already open, and everyone starts at level 8.

Olimpia is a fully custom Open Tibia server built on Greek mythology, running client protocol 10.98 from a dedicated host in Brazil. It opens 18 September 2026 with eight vocations that ascend into sixteen permanent forms at level 300, eight patron gods, 120 instanced hunts and 15 dungeons, after three open betas and a completed character wipe.

What the server offers

The character system centers on ascension. All eight base vocations become permanent at level 300, when the NPC Socrates evolves each one into one of two forms with no level reset, according to the launch thread:

  • Warrior becomes Berserker or Defender
  • Archer becomes Bowman or Falcon
  • Wizard becomes Hellmage or Thunderlord
  • Druid becomes Priest or Shaman
  • Monk becomes Champion or Rage Fighter
  • Samurai becomes Ronin or Shogun
  • Bard becomes Minstrel or Spellsinger
  • Assassin becomes Deathblade or Shadow

That ascension level moved during development. Dohko's first OTLand post, on 28 November 2025, set it at level 150; the September 2026 launch thread raised it to level 300.

Before ascending, players pick a patron from eight gods of Olympus: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Athena, Ares, Apollo, Artemis or Aphrodite. Each patron grants Divine Form, a 60-second combat buff that scales with devotion rank, raised through daily rituals at the god's altar, item offerings and god quests; the rank itself adds 10% to 50% experience.

Hunting is instanced. Players pick a tier and a hunt from a lobby, then choose a PvP instance, worth 30% more experience, or a Non-PvP one, across 120 hunts running from level 8 to endgame. The thread says this removes spawn stealing and queues.

Fifteen instanced dungeons back the hunts: eleven named after gods, plus four Access Dungeons that unlock new hunting regions once cleared, Gates of Elysia at level 100 and up, Depths of Acheron at 300 and up, Prison of Tartarus at 600 and up, and Ascent to Olympus at 900 and up. Difficulties run Normal to Mythic, every run is timed, and solo and group runs keep separate leaderboards.

A normal kill can also open a portal to an elite version of the same monster for ten minutes:

Elite tier Odds HP bonus Experience bonus
Savage 1 in 1,000 +100% 2x
Cursed 1 in 5,000 +300% 3x
Titan 1 in 10,000 +700% 5x
Mythic 1 in 20,000 not stated in the thread not stated in the thread

Gear rarity (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic) and upgrade level (+1 to +12, using upgrade stones and gold) progress on separate tracks; blessings guard against downgrade, and a Legendary base is required past +10. Ranked PvP runs through Arena of Ares, where both fighters are normalized to level 1000 with a temporary mythic set so gear cannot decide the match. Arena matches use Elo rating, tiers from Bronze to Ares, live spectating and monthly prizes for the top three, according to the launch thread.

The client itself has built-in tools, including an auto-heal and spell-rotation Helper, Auto Loot, a Hunt Analyzer, Supply Stash, Depot Search and a DPS test, described in the thread as allowed and identical for every account. That resolves a complaint from Olimpia's first OTLand thread in November 2025, where players Paner and Marko999x objected to a "bot" button in the beta client; Dohko said at the time that the beta was exactly the point at which the team would decide whether bots belonged in the game.

The same account works on Windows and Android, and an English wiki documents the server across six sections. The launch thread lists 1,884 creature types, more than 20 custom bosses, 229 outfits, 307 mounts and 160 spells, plus a 120-chapter Codex that rewards a small permanent account-wide bonus for collecting hunt drops.

Why it matters if you play or run a server

For players, the wipe makes launch night an actual clean start. Three open betas ran, the last ending 30 August 2026, and every beta character was deleted while accounts and any donated coins were kept, so everyone logs in at level 8 at the same moment. Dohko also told a player asking about payment methods that every account gets five days of VIP status at launch. Beta tester lucas1089, who says he played all three betas, calls Olimpia "fully custom, hd graphics and so many RPG stuff in it," crediting a GM who keeps adding content.

For owners, the thread shows how to answer monetization criticism in public. Player Adposatnr posted a screenshot of the founder-pack page and called it an "abomination." Dohko replied that the packs "are completely optional and were widely requested by players who participated in the Beta," adding, "I guarantee it isn't pay-to-win, and that 4 of the top 5 players from the Beta never spent a single dollar." The founder page sells three tiers:

Pack Price VIP days Notable exclusives
Hero R$ 99,90 15 Spartan outfit, Skybreaker Pegasus mount, 42-slot Founder Backpack
Titan R$ 299,90 30 Adds a Horse of Apocalypse mount and a Soul of Creature, tradeable for any companion via NPC Kratos
God R$ 499,90 60 Adds an Olympian Champion outfit, a Dragon of Hades mount and the Hades Pyrion companion, described as available nowhere else

According to Dohko, the store sells VIP time, cosmetics and convenience, with top-tier gear coming from playing. Olimpia has no page yet on otservers.org, the Open Tibia server directory this post runs on, though listing is free for any owner who verifies control of a server through its message of the day.

What to watch

The launch thread is not fully consistent on connection details. Its structured fields list port 7171, while Dohko's own post text gives port 443, so players who cannot connect on launch night should try both. The Polish BLIK payment method a player requested is also unresolved: Dohko said only that he would look into it, with no date given. Whether 120 hunts and 15 dungeons hold up under real launch traffic is something the first hours of play on 18 September 2026 will show.
